100% blue weber agave, additive free tequila from the highlands of Jalisco.
Volans is made at NOM 1579 (El Pandillo), a distillery known for traditional, high-quality methods of stone oven cooked agave, tahona crushed, copper pot distillation and then aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels. On the nose you get baking spices, apples and pears, and mineral notes and then you can taste sweet cooked agave, citrus and some subtle oak and warm spices. The finish is light, clean and slightly sweet, smooth and peppery.
