Pechotierra Verde is produced in Laguna de Sánchez, Nuevo León, located in a wooded region of Nuevo León that sits at 1,900 meters above sea level. Because of relatively cold year-round temperatures, producers in the area use pulque as a natural accelerant in the fermentation process, with no added water giving it a sweet and funky nose. Briney with hints of nuts, salinity and a smooth, sweet agave finish.
