Cask-strength Whiskey from Son's of Vancouver in the North Shore
A mix of 79% Rye and 21% wheat whisky, aged 3-4 years in ex-bourbon barrels then finished in 3 separate casks for their specific flavour profiles. First is in a toasted oak for soft vanilla, amburana for warm cinnamon spice and lastly in a tawny port for the rich depth of brown sugar and raisin. You end up smelling vanilla frosting and tasting lots of baking spices. It's rich and decadent, good for sipping on with desert or as the last course itself.
