From Naramata Bench's King Family Vineyard, this merlot comes off 40 year old vines, and was native fermented in concrete and aged in French oak barrels with only 30% new wood. Notes of smooth and silky blackberries, wild plum, boysenberry with finely sticky tannins framing the sides, and drawing this to a gently spiced finish.
