Aged for 90 days. The malolactic fermentation gives a buttery aroma, followed by the scents of all the fruitiness of the American barrel, maple, cranberries, and apricot. On the first nose, the French barrel comes to the forefront with its robust aromas, the wood, tobacco, and vanilla demonstrating the aromatic depth. Palate has a medium-high attack, with a low alcoholic presence. Has an intense flavor of cocoa, elegant wood, and a creaminess that passes smoothly through the throat with a long aftertaste. Has a medium-high body and finish.
