This highland grown Tequila is part of the ArteNOM Selección series, which showcases tequilas from different distilleries, each with unique production techniques and terroir. This specific product has the agave cooked in brick ovens for 36 hours, fermented in stainless steel vats, and double distilled in copper pot stills before being aged for about 10 months in American white oak bourbon barrels. This type of aging process gives the reposado notes of smoked citrus with vanilla and roasted sweet potato. The finish is smooth, with lasting notes of spice and oak.
